Account Watch · by Oman Software
We read every rates, levy and utility statement for your properties, and get back what you were overcharged.
Municipal bills in South Africa are often wrong. Owners with several properties rarely have time to check each statement every month, so errors, missed payments and forgotten credits pile up with interest.

How it works
- Statements come to us. Forward your municipal, levy and utility emails, or copy us in. We cover every municipality and managing agent you deal with.
- Every line is checked, every month. Tariffs, valuations, consumption, duplicate charges, interest, payments received, credits and arrears.
- We handle the dispute. We draft the formal dispute or refund request for your approval, lodge it, and follow up until it is resolved.
- You see it all on one page. A private dashboard per owner: balance, due date and status of every account, with a short monthly summary.
Fees
We check the last 12 months of statements and tell you what we found before you sign anything.
Minimum three accounts. Includes the dashboard, monthly summary and payment reminders.
Charged only when a refund or credit actually lands on your account. Nothing recovered, nothing owed.
Managing agents and body corporates: ask about portfolio pricing. Prices exclude VAT.
Questions owners ask
Do I have to stop paying my account during a dispute?
No. The law expects you to keep paying undisputed amounts. We tell you exactly what to pay while a dispute runs, so you are not exposed to cut-offs.
What do you need from me?
Copies of your statements and a signed mandate letter that lets us correspond with the municipality on your behalf. You approve every dispute before it is sent.
What happens to my information?
Statements are processed under POPIA, used only to check your accounts, and never shared. We keep the figures, not your bank details.
What if it needs a lawyer?
Most errors are fixed through the municipality's own dispute process. If a matter must go to court, we refer you to an attorney and hand over the full file.
